Zatanna is one of those characters in the DC universe that everyone likes, but no one really likes enough to see in a standalone book. Zatanna is a magician by trade, but uses her magical abilities, and her knowledge of the arts to serve as a superhero when not on stage.

Zatanna is featured in the first page splash of Hawkman #4 with a nice write-up of her backstory on the interior.

Zatanna's second appearance was in Detective Comics #336, although she is known as "the Witch" in that book, and not specifically Zatanna.
